The museum shop offers a variety of souvenirs. Replicas of Roman artifacts, post cards, and (reference) books. But also, the fun and educational ‘Van Vicus tot Villa’ tour.
This tour guides you past Roman burial fields and over the Roman road up to the site where the Roman villa of Voerendaal was discovered. The tour guide is available at the front desk for € 2,50. The tour can be done by foot or bicycle.
Start and end of the tour
‘Van Vicus tot Villa’ starts at the Thermen museum. You can decide where you finish: Voerendaal train station (total walking distance is 12 km, you take the train back to Heerlen) or back at the Thermen museum (total walking distance 17 km).
